FSH H8 ME

I have fallen into a pattern of blogging every other day. No reason other than I have been staying close to the house. No big walks because of gout.

I got a couple of good shots the last few days:

Beth and I took a hike around Inverness this morning. We walked along Sir Francis Drake to Chicken Ranch Beach, on Tomales Bay.

We walked back up a pretty cool trail that has a long staircase through the forest and lots of wild berries.

Closer to home, there are lots of little bridges crossing the creek.

Inverness is a pretty magical place. On the Pt. Reyes Peninsula, bordered by Tomales Bay on the East and the Pacific Ocean to the West. It has a mild climate, much like San Francisco.

We are still gardening and meditating daily. I stopped going to the Bovine Bakery every morning. My scale told me not to go anymore.

I have been fighting off gout the last three months. It is very hard to pinpoint the trigger(s)/cause. I have not been exercising. I have been off my seagan (vegan + seafood) diet, and I have been drinking lots of wine. The walk  today was good. I need to get on my bicycle.

I bought a shit ton of vegetables yesterday at Berkeley Bowl. I am back on the diet. The foot feels great right now.

We made a big tofu and vegetable stir fry tonight.

Lots of ginger and garlic. It smelled and tasted pretty good. It reminded my of the concoction that my mom used to make when I was a kid. My dad jokingly called it "cockyock". He was hilarious.

I drove to SF tonight. Going fishing with Earl in the morning. Wish us luck.
